"Disco Tool #2" is the most recent of several collabs I've done with fellow boston artist and twitter extraordinaire Colin Domigan. Colin sent this one to me as a 64-bar sketch and I was instantly drawn to its melody and overtly happy vibe. Over the course of a week I brought it to life adding layers of instruments and a keyboard solo, stretching it out to DJ-friendly length. Originally finished in early 2021, I sat on it for awhile and gave it a much improved mixdown late last year. Now it's ready for mass consumption.

It's a bit different from other stuff I've put out in recent years but it's a cool spin on disco that doesn't rely on samples as much as many modern disco house songs do. Not that there's anything wrong with sampling obviously.
